Chiropractors treat subluxations of the spine and other joints. A subluxation is a misalignment of a joint. Chiropractors treat back pain, neck pain, scoliosis, herniated and bulging discs, whiplash, sports injuries, frozen shoulder, knee injuries, tennis elbow and golf elbow, injuries from falls, injuries from auto accidents, and any injury of the spine or injury of a joint.

A chiropractic adjustment is the manipulation of a joint -whether it is the spine, shoulder or other extremity- that corrects the positioning and function of the joint.

The number of chiropractic appointments needed varies greatly. Someone who has an acute but minor flare up will often feel better within 1-8 chiropractic visits. Someone with a serious injury from a fall or auto accident will benefit most from a series of 15 to 30 chiropractic visits. Someone who has chronic pain or joint issues will more likely benefit from a regular treatment schedule.

Chiropractic adjustments and care restore alignment which allows proper movement of the joints and allows the nervous system to operate efficiently. Our goal at Freedom Chiropractic is to return the body to optimal freedom of movement.

The risks of chiropractic adjustments and care are minimal for the majority of patients.

Depending on the individual patient, most adjustments are pain free. In fact, patients usually feel much relief after an adjustment.
